One of the activities planned before leaving the states was a trip to the Cotswolds. There had been an LA Times Travel page dedicated to the endeavor of walking holidays in England. My partner had also edited a book that was set in this region. We got off the train at Stratford Upon Avon, home of William Shakespeare. We took a bus to Chipping Campden and walked to Blockley, where we had booked a room for two nights.
The next day we headed out for another walk along the Heart of England way that took us to Batsford and the Arboretum there.
